        Our very own Millicent (the would-be artist's model) was very familiar with the territory. She headed West in 1872 after the Great Boston Fire and operated a very successful saloon with dining, music and dancing on the main floor and special entertainment upstairs in the rooms she rented. (Sometimes by the hour.)
